The products we use to clean

At Neatly, we aim to achieve the highest standard of cleanliness in your home without exposing ourselves, you or your family to toxic residues. This is why we are constantly researching new and better ways to clean without using harmful or unnecessary products. We also check every aspect of the products we do use — including supply chain and manufacture to ensure that we are treading as lightly as possible. We consider carbon footprint, palm oil use in manufacture, slave labour and business ethics.

Below you will find a comprehensive list of the things that we will regularly use in your home. Pretty sure you'll be familiar with all of them, you will probably even have them in your pantry already.

Vinegar

Plain white vinegar.

Castile Soap

This is a true soap manufactured in Australia using only vegetable-based ingredients, no synthetic chemicals.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate also known as bicarb soda or baking soda is often used in baking, so not toxic, it is great as a mild abrasive and does a great job cleaning a stainless steel sink.

Essential Oils

Organic where possible, these oils are naturally derived and they not only have a wonderful scent, they can also boost cleaning and disinfecting power. Unlike synthetic fragrances, which can be formulated with crude oil derivatives including benzene derivatives, aldehydes, toluene, phthalates and many other known toxic chemicals which have been linked to cancer, birth defects, central nervous system disorders and allergic reactions.
